Photography is one of my passions. So when Craig Strong approached Sandstrom Partners looking for help re-branding his company, I was elated. I watched this small local company become a cult success among camera geeks over the course of a few short years. Lensbaby’s initial success was not due to marketing efforts, but because of the uniqueness of their product. We got the opportunity to take their brand to the next level.
Our design team established a strong product color story and set of guidelines for the new identity and packaging. We also helped name new products they were launching in conjunction with our rebranding efforts. Then we turned our focus to overhauling their website. I designed a large range of page templates for an ever growing collection of photographic resources including photo galleries, forums, webcasts, workshop schedules, etc. But ultimately, the thing I get the most joy from is seeing a logo that I designed etched on the front of my favorite camera lens.
